Quality control is the difference between satisfaction and disappointment. This checklist covers every major category and the specific details you should inspect when your order arrives.

General QC Steps (All Categories)

1. **Compare to spreadsheet photos**: Open the spreadsheet entry and compare your item to the photos.

2. **Check for damage**: Look for tears, stains, or shipping damage.

3. **Verify size**: Measure key dimensions against the size chart.

4. **Inspect stitching**: Look for loose threads, uneven seams, or skipped stitches.

5. **Check hardware**: Verify zippers, buttons, snaps, and drawstrings function properly.

6. **Review tags and labels**: Confirm placement, font, and material accuracy.

7. **Document with photos**: Take clear photos of any issues before removing tags.

Shoes QC

• Heel shape matches retail reference
• Outsole texture depth and pattern alignment
• Tongue tag placement and font weight
• Midsole paint edges clean
• Toe box perforation pattern correct
• Insole print quality and alignment
• Box and extras if applicable

Hoodies/Sweaters QC

• Fabric weight feels correct for listed GSM
• Embroidery density and thread gaps
• Wash consistency across all panels
• Drawstring aglet quality
• Sleeve and body length match measurements
• Kangaroo pocket alignment

T-Shirts QC

• Print thickness and cracking resistance
• Collar ribbing width and recovery
• Shoulder seam alignment
• Tag accuracy
• Hem stitching quality
• No loose threads along seams

Jackets QC

• Fill distribution on puffers
• Zipper weight and engraving
• Button or snap hardware
• Inner lining material
• Collar and cuff construction
• Seam taping on technical shells

Pants/Shorts QC

• Measurements match size chart
• Hardware engraving quality
• Pocket bag material
• Hem stitching type
• Wash consistency

Headwear QC

• Embroidery thread gaps
• Panel alignment at seams
• Brim curve consistency
• Inner sweatband quality
• Snap or strap hardware
• Beanie cuff thickness

When to Accept vs. Return

**Accept if**: Minor flaws noted in the spreadsheet QC section. Slight color variation under different lighting. Imperfections that are not visible during normal wear.

**Return if**: Major flaws not mentioned in the spreadsheet. Significant size mismatch. Broken hardware. Wrong item entirely.

Documentation Best Practices

• Use natural lighting for photos
• Include a ruler or coin for scale reference
• Take photos from multiple angles
• Capture close-ups of any flaws
• Record a short video for functional issues (zippers, etc.)

Using Your QC Data

After inspecting, update your personal notes. If you found issues, report them in the community. If everything was perfect, confirm the batch quality for future buyers. Your QC data helps the entire community.
